Chopstick
In a moment of neatness I decided to reinstal Oblivion and delete all my current mods.Mostly since I wanted a fresh mod start, and I just had too many silly mods.I saved all my savegames and assumed that they would work without some of the mods (Well, I guess my sub conciens thought so, or something)I downloaded the some of the same mods that I had on my character, like cape and rens and stuff like that. Tho, things dident end up as I wanted, and every time I try to start on my savegame (L.40 Assassin, 110 hours played, cleargame, every top-rank exept mages guild which I were a aprentice or something) it just stops loading and I need to restart my computer. In retrospect I see that it was quite silly of me, and I could just prolly have deleted the .ems files. Retrospect sucks. So, I hubly beg for any good ideas of how I can play my beloved character again. (Have tried just to play when some, none and all of my mods are on(/off) Any ideas would be most welcome. LlamaSprinter
Well my only suggestion is what in do which is copy the saved game and put/paste it somewhere safe then reinstall the game. After you can just just paste the saved game back in.
CJD
Well my only suggestion is what in do which is copy the saved game and put/paste it somewhere safe then reinstall the game. After you can just just paste the saved game back in. it will probably erase the saves, everywhere. i suggest putting it on a Cd-RW and then putting it back on the pc after re-installing. Chopstick
Tried to reinstal the game. But it still stops in the middle of the loading screen. Tried with one of my other characters and everything went well. And btw, when reinstalling, it does'nt delete your savegames (tho, backups are always nice)
Abramul
I seem to recall a dependency remover for MW. Hasn't someone come up with an OB one yet? ...here's that... It *might* work for OB saves (rename it to *.esp), but I doubt it.
Chopstick
I finaly "fixed" it. When I first reinstaled the game, the savegames didn't disapear, so I tried too use them. Every saved game and character which I had there worked, except for my main character(of course  ) So after some time trying to fix it(which Im rather bad at^^;), I tried to use one of my old backup saves (Don't know why theyd work, they had alot of the same mods). And it worked. Lost around elleven hours of playtime, but that bother me none. Sorry for bothering with silly things^^;; And lotsa thanks for your time and ideas=D
