jhtm
http://img263.imageshack.us/i/ingamew.jpg hi guys this is my first forum post here since i need some help. Ivve recently got into modding fallout new vegas after exstensive modding of the gta series. ive taken some of he mods ive had in FO3 and moved them into new vegas but need some help on some items. ive essentially been changing all vanilla items ie have replaced the NCR clothes and weapons to a cooler black themed tactical look with soldiers carrying moddable G36 rifles. All vanilla weapons have been replaced renamed and made moddable. now im trying to change the armors and in particular the merc and power armors in game. I personally dont like the power armor so wanted to use the halo outfits to replace them - and for some merc outfits i wanted to use some USMC items like you see below (helmet). Im also changing all energy weapons and thought a futuristic look would be better so am porting the battlefield 2142 mod into NV - i need a bit of help here also. ok here are the screens:http://img7.imageshack.us/i/downsights.jpg how do i do the aim down the sights properly?? http://img98.imageshack.us/i/mohawkpopthru.jpg how do i fix this helmet where the mohawk hair is coming thru? http://yfrog.com/ghhelmetonsidej how do i fix this helmet on side thing? it only shows up like this on one object

jhtm
ok worked out the hair clipping thing if you highlight the hair, head etc object in the biped list - it effectively hides that body part once equipped
oLRampag3
Hey, nice custom skins, i really liked the idea of Battlefield 2142 on Fallout 3 New vegas, but can you just make battlefield? without the halo suit? Thanks! :]
jammerham
Im working on something similar. To fix those sights, you have to add a sighting node in NifSkope. Then you have to move it around to line it up correctly. The easiest way to do this is to open up a weapon that already works flawlessly in new vegas in NifSkppe and copy and paste the sighting node branch onto the weapon you are porting. Make sure it is named sighting node, then move it to where you want the camera to be when you go into ironsights. Im sorry it sounds a little complicated but thats about as simply as I cant put it.
