Armor effects not working

Hello, recently I tried creating a new armor set that would use the enchantments of the RCSS and Advanced Recon Armor, while maintaining the stylish look of the NEVEC Body Suit, for personal use only of course. I managed to transfer all enchantments by making copies of them with different names that instead referenced and were used by the new armor set I made using the NEVEC meshes and textures. The set looks fine in game, but the water breathing and stealth field effects fail to function. I can upload the esp if this helps. Also, all records are new so it doesn't conflict with anything, and even if it did, it's last in the load order.

havent tried water breathing but stealth fields have always worked for me.

Well the shader effect (stealth field) doesn't show so I'm guessing it isn't working, and water breathing obviously doesn't because I can drown.

I find the best way is to create your own object effect, make it apparel and give the name and I'D anything you want.

 

For water breathing just add the effect don't add any duration etc. Once done add the new object effect to the armor in the details of the armor u wish to add it to

Hmmmm strange, is the armor custom or vanilla?

 

Also, is there another mod active that is editing the same armor ?

 

I found if u have two mods changing the same piece of armor, it comes down to load order in germs of which one takes precedence.

 

Maybe try no mods (ESPs) except a single one tht edits ur armor

Custom, it's the NEVEC body suit edited by me, for me, to have the effects of the Advanced Recon Armor and RCSS combined into one lol. And no, nothing else edits it, it's a totally new form and everything, and it's loaded last.
