Have you solved this in the meantime?It sounds like some mod may have added something similar to Boone's and/or Rex's companion perk(s) to you. Boone's Spotter makes enemies red when zooming in on them (e.g. looking through a scope), Rex's Search and Mark makes lootable containers (e.g. dead people) green. Maybe a PN Cyberware implant? BLOODY updates! i LIKE TO DO THINGS MY WAY MY WAY WORKS! UPDATE ONE AT A TIME THEN IF IF GOES WRONG THEN AT LEAST YOU KNOW WHICH ONE WENT WRONG! WITH A MASS UPDATE i DON'T KNOW WHICH MOD!
