supercell1970
When trying to export a *.3ds image to a NIF file, blender will lock up. I am attempting to use free 3DS images for practice to import them into the Oblivion editor,so that I can put the into a game. What could I be doing wrong? hallowedking
I had a similar issue how ever I finally noticed that in the blender console I got a warning message saying changing .ico file to .nif file on output files,or something like that. Then I kept trying and finally noticed in the export options for some reason the file was being exported as .nif.ico or some kind of .ico file cant remember what,so I selected .nif.nif and it worked.Took me forever to find the issue and correct it,hope that helps, but I'm new to blender so hopefully somebody with more knowledge will help you out. supercell1970
Thanks, I figured it out. The only weird thing is that when I export to a nif file and open the oblivion editor to place it in the level;(Oops Run on sentence.); The item place is much too large. I placed a statue in the Anvil Courtyard and it was as tall as the castle when I hit F to drop it. Thanks a billion.
