Is there any way method available in scripting to check if a weapon's been fired? I'm also looking for a way to increase spread after that check, as well as check the firer's selected ammo type.

I'd prefer to exclude multiple projectile weapons from recoil-affected spread without also excluding shotguns loaded with buckshot, but I can understand if that's going to be too complicated.

I would assume it's for shaking the screen when the weapon fires. However, that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for the scripting functions that check when a weapon's been fired - assuming there is one - and how I would go about modifying the spread of a weapon. I don't mean to repeat myself and sound like a douche, but I'd prefer this topic not get off-track.

 

Are there any scripters out there who can point me in the right direction?
