Numeroid
I say if you're going to get a computer at least learn to use it. I find that most people who don't know anything about computers or the internet get a virus and then they say it was the system's fault. Anyway I'm interested in custom building a computer, I just haven't gotten around to doing it.
Jagermh
A person that says Mac's dont get viruses are fools, there are viruses but only macs make up about 4% of the Personal Computer market so that means they are a less targeted audience but there are viruses for Macs floating around. Macs may not take up much of the computer market but they take up more than that also ipods/iphones/ipads are made by apple an they dont get viruses
CommanderCrazy
I will never ever buy an apple product.I mean, sure, the apple computer was the beginning GUI computing, but they have gone way downhill into the areas of a stupid money hungry corporation. The problem though, is that people buy apple products these days, because they're apple products. Nothing more, nothing less.Take the iPod. Walkmans and mp3's were doing just fine, but then an iPod came around, and now all these aforementioned products are 'obsolete'Now everything these days is based around the letter "i" and apple in general. Now cars all have iPod integration.Radios and sound systems have special docks for them. You hear someone talking about music, and then the person he's talking to says "Really? What kind of iPod do you have?"When someone asked the same question to me once, I replied "I dont have one" and got the response "You're gay."Just because I'm trying to make the world a better place by not giving apple money, I get shunned by society. They will still continue to make products, because they know that everything they sell will bought by damn near everyone.Apple could make a revolutionary 'iTurd" that sits there doing nothing but stink up the place and there'd by articles in the news and on the internet saying how good it is. Why? It has an "i" in front of it. Just had to get that one off my chest. Wait. I just realised that they've been making iTurds since the start. Jagermh
The reason apple ipods became popular is they had more storage and better controls
CommanderCrazy
No. They didn't.I have an old mp3 that has 64gb. That was a few months before the first iPod.It's controls was a little multi purpose joystick and a few buttons, as oppose to a silly little ring.iPod's are nothing but toys that play music. Sorry Apple, you lose.

Sorry Apple, you lose. Apple's products were much cheaper for the same storage since they went to a company who made micro HDDs to buy storageThose joystics stick out in your pocket and always break whereas the ring wont break since it doesn't work on moving parts although it feels loke it doesThe ipods are also much easier to sync and have the itunes storeand to top it all off theyre compact
CommanderCrazy
The joystick folded into the device when you didn't need it.ITunes is spyware, and you need to have iTunes to access the iPod's files. The ring can break, as it does use moving parts. Microswitches to be exact. What is easier to sync than sliding a usb connector out with a switch? No cords at all. And, by the way, this package costed me 70 bucks AU.What iPod can you get for 70 bucks? None. EDIT: Look. I don't want to annoy you any further, and (Maybe) you don't want to annoy me any further, so lets just stop this.Agree to disagree if you will?I, personally, hate apple, whereas you dont. Enough said right?
