vivie84
Hi all, Wanted to ask if there is a mod currently available that would let me do "character creation" for my party members so that I could redesign them visually? Regards
RustyBlade
Only thing that can do that is the toolset. Make the face you want and export it as a mor, then name it to correspond to the character you want to change.

RustyBlade
Open your save with the toolset; I'm assuming your character is an elf. Expand SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR, expand SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR_CHAR, expand SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE and in the blank space to the right of SAVEGAME_APPEARANCE_MORPH_NAME type (or copy from here and paste) in ef_bec110_shianni.mor then save and exit and you will look like Shianni. JMarso
There is another simple way to alter NPC appearances without using the toolset. Someone recently posted a file on the nexus containing most of the game's .mor files. Using these (or by using the .mor files found in mods like Dragon Age Redesigned) you can simply rename them to the character you want. For example, all my girls at the Pearl have been altered to look like Nesiara, Bella, Aura (from Awakening), and so on. I have multiple versions of Leliana I can use in game, from Mhairi to various elves that I can use in conjunction with the elven Leliana mod. What you do is copy the .mor file you want to use, and rename it to the character in question (use their .mor file to get the proper name), and then drop it in the override folder. JMarso
An addendum to this topic: With the Metagame Items mod you can now re-classify any NPC. For example, you can turn Leliana into a Mage, Zevran into a Warrior, Alister into a Rogue, you name it. You can also do the same with your own PC. So with the following mods: Face ReplacerMetagame Items You can change the look, class, skillsets, etc of your entire party. What it does NOT do is alter the core game scripts and stuff: You can turn Wynne into a warrior but she's still going to converse as though she's a mage, and so on. It can be fun, though, to alter appearances and such. For example, with the paladin mod and the above mods you could turn Zevran from an assassin to a Dalish-looking Elven Holy Warrior. He's still going to talk about Antiva and being the son of a prostitute and such, but if you can get past that then the sky's the limit!
Thandal
Or you could try this: "Character Respecialization". (Same caveats about the mod not affecting the dialogues, of course...) Edited March 1, 2011 by Thandal typos.
