Moraelin Posted November 15, 2010 Share Posted November 15, 2010 Well, at least in Blender, you'd hit "UV Unwrap" and paint or load the texture. Alternately you can just do the unwrap there, export, and make NifSkope generate you a texture template in the resolution you wish. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BoilingOil Posted November 15, 2010 Share Posted November 15, 2010 .dds files are the actual textures. To start making textures, you'll need to be able to export .dds files from your graphics editor. You can download the DDS plugin for photoshop here or for gimp. For some texture tutorials, the archive section has some pretty good starting points.
