No more Amulet of power farming after most recent patch?

I havn't played with newer patches than Patch 2 for a long time. I can't say if Patch 5 removed farming for all power amulets.

There are more spots though. Try checking the last coffin in 'Cold endured' in The Temple Of Pride.

I think they manually have to remove all these exploits one by one.

 

 

Forbidden Oasis amulet of power is gone

Broken Mirror amulet of power is gone

Dorian amulet in still ruins is gone

Dorian amulet from hissing wastes is gone

Dorian amulet from keep in western approach is gone

Varric amulet from valammar is gone

Varric amulets (both of them) from dragon kill is gone

Cole amulet from Imshale is gone

Cole amulet from chest beside him in Skyhold is gone

Cole's amulet from emerald graves mansion is gone

Vivienne's amulet in Halamshiral is gone

Vivienne's amulet in Emerald Graves is gone

Ironbulls amulets (both of them) from dragon kills are gone

Solas amulet in temple is gone

Cassandra's amulet in Therinfal Redoubt is gone

Sera's amulet of power from dragon is gone

 

 

With the exception of Cassandra's amulet in a chest in Fallow Mire and the Inquisitor's in Crestwood, they removed every amulet that you receive from loot or from a chest. Amulets from war missions still are given. The two amulets within chests are the only items in the chest. They cannot be exploited anymore without something like CheatEngine.

 

There were slightly more than 30 amulets of power in the game and only half remain. HALF!

 

I realize they don't really matter at end-game because you're swimming in skill points. But the first half of the game (the challenging part...) is when they are desirable, more so if not a human. And they are gone gone gone.

I have been working on a "fix" for Bioware's somewhat extreme reaction to this exploit.
I am in need of people to test it out and report any crashes or missing loot/amulets they encounter while using it.

Find the mod here: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/455/? It should restore the amulets back to thier pre-patch5 chests/loot drops.

Yeah lazy programing and then they punish ALL players and steal from the original intended release. That's illegal by the way. Technically a breach of contract, among other things. I wrote a dissertation about such things to other companies. Just fix the issue already and quit being lazy irresponsible blah etc.
