sinthesis
Hey thanks for this guide :)Will try it! I have a question. At the moment I'm playing a lot with the different explosive ammo types, the weapons and the explosions itself and experience how cool it is. But ofcourse it will take a long time until Im gonna find the perfect settings for me. I always save my changes as "better explosives.esp". Is there a way, to only see the stuff I changed in a list? When I open my .esp only the usual Lists of all the stuff that's in the whole FalloutNV game shows up and it reaaaally is a pain to search for every single entry that I've altered. And to remember them. It is over 50 entries I have to remember which I changed, how I changed them, and what their default values were (for comparison) . I just altered a lot, but figured I made the explosives too strong with too extreme limb damage and range. Can't I just open my esp, see the list of edited entries, and see which values I changed and how I changed them? That'd make things much easier. -editIn Oblivion I mostly used Wyre Brush to change values (of existing mods, didnt use the actualy construction kit) and there was always a list, so it was way easier ^^ -edit2The more i get into it the crazier I get btw :P :P :P
Borch1d
If there is it's a trick I don't know :( My best advise is if you can try to keep notepad or a similar program open , just keep a basic log of what you've changed. Is it a tedious pain in the bum? Yep. Will it save you annoyance in the longer run :) Yep. As far as sorting through lists in the G.E.C.K I wish there was 1 I knew of.-Borch1d Wait a sec. Ninja Edit , You can just load the default Fallout 3.esm assuming you did not edit it and you'll be able to see all of the default values inside of it or just post or pm me a list of the values you need and I'll look them up 4 u next time I fire up the GECK. ;)
WuphonsReach
If there is it's a trick I don't know :(In Fallout 3, FO3Edit. In New Vegas, NVEdit. Run that, ticking off FalloutNV.esm and your mod's ESP file and it will show you all the records that have been changed by the ESP.
