Noggog
Originally I wanted this for Oblivion, but since it doesn't really apply to specifically Oblivion, and a lot of you hott modders are probably doing Vegas stuff, I thought I'd post it here too. So, every save game file has a screenshot associated with it that you see when you mouse over in game. I was thinking of somehow making a mod that would make that screenshot the loadscreen. This would be a cool effect, as you would see where you left off as you are loading, and then the loadbar goes away and you can play away. No dull repeated sets of premade loading screens. Any ideas of how to make this happen? I'm somewhat new to modding, and it seems like a more abstract "outside the TES4Edit" mod.
Deleted1303823User
You could maybe replace the existing load screens with something else, but probably not this dynamically. I think that kind of code is in the source. But I'm no New Vegas expert, so I'm not sure.

Yeah, spending some time thinking about it, it would definitely pose a lot of issues to solve. 1) Decoding the screenshot from the saves - or - taking a screenshot before saves to use. 2) Showing these screenshots as the loading screens ONLY when loading a savegame and not when transferring cells normally. If you know for sure that this ISNT possible, please comment so I know to stop pursuing. If you have any ideas, please post them! 8) I'm not opposed to making this myself, I just need some helpful tippers.
