Mechasheva
In-game time recently started zooming by at an alarming rate. I'll hit T and see it's noon, then hit E and T as fast as possible and it'll be 3 or something. No, I'm not just very slow at typing. Time is going fast. It started during a night of sexcapades with Mandi and Jessica from the Playthings mod (I don't know which actions triggered it)--which leads me to believe it's stuck in some sort of hypertime used to advance time during sex or maybe sleeping or waiting. Sleeping, waiting, and sex all do nothing to stop this hypertime. Neither does deactivating the Playthings mod. Somebody help! I look up in the sky and see the sun fly from horizon to horizon in seconds! This accelerated rotation of the Earth can't be good for... well, anything really. And somewhere out in the wastes, hundreds of disoriented owls have no effing clue what the hell is going on and are hunting in daylight, getting their butts kicked by Cazadors! Save the owls!* Is there, perhaps, some command to pause time that might set this right? Some sort of GECK fix would also be great (as long as it is verrrry simple, or has an extremely clear walkthrough. I am a.... whatever the word is for someone just below 'noob' level). All help is appreciated! *There is an amusing (though irritating) upside, though: Tommy Torini and his dance troupe are now permanently stuck in dance, because it always comes round to show time again before they have any hope of getting off the stage. I imagine one of these days months I'll walk in and find them dead from exhaustion... or dancing miles below ground, having slowly dug through the stage and earth with their feet. Unfortunately, Tommy doesn't seem to want to talk shop with some butthole Courier who keeps trying to interrupt his performance, so this makes getting anywhere on the Talent Pool quest very difficult. (Oh, and one more thing: Cass. Will Not. Shut. Up. Every few seconds she pipes up with one of her comments, and they're not always related to the situation; we were walking peacefully through Red Rock Canyon and she suddenly said "They're better off dead" or whatever her line is for whenever you kill something. Doesn't happen with any other companions, whether using the Unlimited Companions mod or with just one person following me around. It's probably not related to this time thing, considering it's just her. But I would greatly appreciate any help... and I'm sure the other companions would too.) McclaudEagle
Besides a fix with the mod that's possibly affecting it, the only thing I could suggest is a mod that brings the timescale back down to normal.
Mechasheva
That's what I figured. Disabling the mod doesn't affect it at all, though. I guess a new mod would be needed. Is it even possible to mod the game's time dimension?
McclaudEagle
I think so. I have heard of mods for games like Oblivion that allow you to choose between several timescale options, from default game to realtime, which means an hour in the game will be an hour in real life. CarlCorey
Open the console and type "set timescale to 30" to return it to the default value. I like to have it at 10 or 15 myself.
