Back on to the subject of the 260, it has DVI, D-Sub and HDMI output.

Plus it is a nice mid range card. But, if you want a high range, i'd push for the 460. It is actually better than the 475 according to Guru3d.

You wanna buy atleast Gtx 460 768 Mb if you are tight on budget.

 

But on your place i would try to save just a little more and go for Gtx 460 1 Gb , becouse its not only memory capacity diffrence.

 

Gtx 460 768Mb is 192-bit card, Gtx 460 1 Gb is 256-bit card.

 

So go for Gtx 460 1 Gb or AMD 6850 1 Gb.

 

You are on full hd (1920x1080) so u need strong gpu and 1 Gb memory.

Both HD6850 and GTX 460 are vey very nice cards and u will run any game maxed.

It would be shame to have such a nice Cpu wit bad gpu.

CommanderCrazy your Gtx 260 DOES NOT support DX 11 , your dx diag says DX 11 becouse you have DX 11 installed on your pc becouse its a part of windows 7.

You could install any gfx and your dx diag will still say DX 11 , but thats software not hardware.

Haveing DX 11 software installed on your pc doesnt mean that your hardvare support it.

 

Say just one game where you can turn DX 11 under graphic options on ANY GTX 2xx series card, you sir post buch of lies.

And why do you all think that AMD gfx card are not good.

When did you last time had an AMD gpu in your PC???

Stop spamming and being Geforce fanboy.

Both HD 6850 and Gtx 460 should be minimum for games today on high and full hd, and performace is more less the same betfeen those two cards.

Gtx 460 768Mb is 192-bit card, Gtx 460 1 Gb is 256-bit card.

 

So go for Gtx 460 1 Gb or AMD 6850 1 Gb.

 

You are on full hd (1920x1080) so u need strong gpu and 1 Gb memory.

Both HD6850 and GTX 460 are vey very nice cards and u will run any game maxed.

It would be shame to have such a nice Cpu wit bad gpu.

CommanderCrazy your Gtx 260 DOES NOT support DX 11 , your dx diag says DX 11 becouse you have DX 11 installed on your pc becouse its a part of windows 7.

You could install any gfx and your dx diag will still say DX 11 , but thats software not hardware.

Haveing DX 11 software installed on your pc doesnt mean that your hardvare support it.

 

Say just one game where you can turn DX 11 under graphic options on ANY GTX 2xx series card, you sir post buch of lies.

And why do you all think that AMD gfx card are not good.

When did you last time had an AMD gpu in your PC???

Stop spamming and being Geforce fanboy.

Both HD 6850 and Gtx 460 should be minimum for games today on high and full hd, and performace is more less the same betfeen those two cards.

The only thing with that is my budget is about £100 at max and that'll be about £40/50 more :/

Is there anything else for a bit less? 450 maybe? I don't know how well that will cope ...
