Nimboss Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 @Feltmarskal What's your power supply rated at? 500, 600, 700W?The games you have problems with is not what I notice as GPU killers (like Crysis, that game burnt up an 8800GT card for me). If you get high pitched noises like tinnituses, that indicate some kind of high power switch circuits failures in the power supply or on the mother board. Might be on the GPU as some others suggested also but I'm more inclined to think you have the problem somewhere else in your rig than on the GPU card. Your sure this sound is not from your speakers?
