New Dismemberment Mod

I don't really care about the specifics yet, just basically the legs or just one leg being blown or shot off, then patching it up with blood pack and bandages, then getting transplant at clinic. Or just making your own peg leg on the go. Same with the left arm, just have it be blown off and patched up the same, etc...

I think we're having a little bit of a communication problem here. So not to be harsh, just to be very clear;

 

1. the left arm can be blown off.

2. The legs (plural) *might* be possible to be blown off (if the player has no movement, ie can't travel from that spot), but probably not, because it's likely ythe torso will appear to be floating.

3. A single leg can't be blown off because any movement (crouthing, or crippled) will still use teh default animations and thus expose a "floating" leg stub.

 

The above is true regardless of blood packs, bandages, transplants, peg leg or other aspects of teh mod.

If you have any experience in Nifskope (which I don't think you do) and Blender, creating animations and other necessary assets for this mod should be possible, a.k.a. the crawling animation, which would be used when missing one or two legs. Then, the player WOULD be able to move. If the player was missing one leg, he/she obviously couldn't walk. Other than that, I don't care the details and specifics.

Actually I do have experience in both, I work with both almost every day. You should be able to see multiple threads in this forum where I have created adn am creating, as well as editing models. There are also many more under my nexus profile. If *you* had any experience in blender (nifskope isn't used in creating KFs) you'd realize the amount of work adn the differing number of animations based on teh myrid of type of attacks (attackthrow, attackthrow1, attackthrow2, attackspin, attackspinup, attackspindown etc, etc,) that would have to be done for crawling, and even then you'd have to use a them as replacers creating it's own set of problems.

You don't grasp the situation at all, your out of your element in this regard and your knowledge of the subject is only surface level at best.

I am new to all this (forgive me, I'm a noob). ALL I am asking if someone would actually do this or not.

Part of teh reason I'm discussing this is to let you know what *is* possible. As I mentioned before I have previously worked on aspects of this mod and can put together the features I have listed. I am describing teh parameters primarily so you can determine if this mod would satisfy the vision you have in mind for it. If it does, then perhaps I can do that for you, if, however it doesn't there would be no point in starting it.

My vision would be very satisfied if this kind of mod would be made. I'm sure more content could be added later on that wouldn't be important at this point, but yes, I'd be very happy.

Right, but I mean you would be happy with the parameters I laid out, ie what is possible as I'v outlined them in my posts?

Yeah, I'm fine with them. I just ask for say in additional content (blood packs,bandages, other stuff...) The main parameters you outlined, I'm fine with 'em. You can tweak them however you like though; but keeping the main idea in focus (dismemberment of limbs while still alive).

Well as I posted, we can only be sure about one, the left arm. Legs are possible but IMHO very unlikely in the context were discussing (as I mentioned they will probably appear result in a floating torso, breaking the immersion).
