Since Energy Barrage is electricity Magic... (my favorite school) i kinda doubt it... I love Energy Barrage... i use it a lot. and i have never noticed any upgrade to it other then rings etc... I use a Fire-staff almost exclusively, so It seems to use fire projectiles instead of electricity, but doesn't seem to use the upgrades from any other school then Electricity. I have all of the upgrades from all schools active atm, and i have 12 projectiles, with a damage of 66% weapon damage. and a boost from Conductive current.. It does lower the resistance to magic of the target a bit, (2%) with the upgrade to Energy Barrage.. but that's all, far as my experience goes.
