Not requests, more surgestions

First King-ettes, not just the Kings groupie in the second floor (thanx Zerrodefex) but a proper bopper costume would be cool.

 

Then there's companions, ZableBlaze's Caring sharing mod had some really good features. Wait - relax/be on guard was an outstanding feature. . .

 

The doors! is it not possible to set open doors to no-clip so they don't push your character into a corner? Stupid, but pretty annoying after the 5th time.

 

Would saving Michel Angelo's camera pix to desktop be more processor economical than running fraps, just a thought.

 

More substantial mods could be Piluk (the coffin maker from the spaghetti westerns) "My mistake. Four coffins" His purpose would be to pick up the damn corpses in Freeside before we're knee deep in them!

 

A Laundry? improve the condition of all non armor clothing, grimy/dirty to good. Possibly a followers quest on the water theme as clean clothes are healthy.

 

Finally, a substantial follower quest to set up a Freeside school, get the utilities on, find the equipment (prewar books in good quantity) and whatever it takes to find or rescue a teacher. Huge good karma, follower and Freeside rep.

On my way to meet Caesar it occurs, has any one made a 'take-this-plane-to-Cuba / suicide bomber' vest?

Just now the game has remote detonators (and characters as irritating as Boone!)

 

Thinks; pack the vest with mini-nukes, tell Boone to wait by Caesar's tent, retreat to a safe distance and "GOD WILLS IT!"

Well the doors thing, yes, if anyone could do that, Yes please but the others. . . I'm just floating ideas on the off chance some of the gifted people here might find them amusing. Apart from the bloody doors I don't much mind.

You have to bear in mind though that they never even heard of Elvis Presley. They just know there's this ancient guy called The King which (they think) people worshipped or something.

 

And they even say that they would have taken any other name if that was on the building. I mean, heh, they could have stumbled upon a Queen fanboy's stash and you'd have that guy calling himself The Queen.

 

I see no reason why a wannabe girl is any worse than a wannabe guy there, really.

I'm glad I'm not the only one trying to throw ideas out there, I've been a bit of a litterbug on the forum by making more than a few topics with ideas. I've mad a request or two also though, but some ideas I've been pushing are

 

1. Build upon Rex, I mean a cyberdog could be a great retexture piece (Not just change his model to another dog) I mean people could make him NCR Rex, or a glowing techy alien dog. And there could be quests attached to get the new textures as "upgrades"

 

2. Ed-E, while he has a lot of retextures, he's pretty much just a toy. No story, personality, or any real use unless you beef him up with mods and such. Maybe someone could add an enclave base he may lead you to, or you can scour the mojave for "special" parts and add onto his functions, or maybe you can add a personality like in fallout 2 with skynet and the brain bot.

 

3. (I'm guessing no one can do this since it got no replys) Maybe when modders make npcs, they could add voices using sound clips and sound boards (like ones kids use for prank calls) to make voiced and funny characters, I mean I'd crack up If I happen across George Bush or Arnold Swarchenagger in the wasteland, or have John Wayne as a follower.

 

4. If you ever played the old fallouts one of the best things to find was a random encounter or easter egg. These were always funny or strange in a whimsical way, like running across godzillas footprint or the knights from monty python. I think a lot of modders could add modern pop culture or even old but recongnizable encounters and eggs for bored players to run across, Fallout Vegas only has a few I've seen so far and needs a lot more.
