GECK question - changing object from STAT to ACTI?

I want to make some of the static objects interactable. I can create a new Action object with the same model as the Static object. Now how do I replace all the Static objects with the Action objects? Is there a way to convert a static object into an action object while keeping all the references?

 

To be more specific, I want to be able to "use" terminals like TerminalDeskR01.
