Abramul
I wanted to report my post in this thread, requesting that post #13 be split, and posts #16, #17, #18, #19, #20, #23, and #24 be moved to the new topic thus created, as they are, IMO, detrimental to the original thread, but I was unable to find an official definition of what should and should not be reported saveSo, when you see an example of thread necromancy, spamming or wrong doing don't start replying to the thread with reasons why it should be deleted et cetera, because more than likely your post will be deleted too and you'll be affected by the same -4 post count deducted the spammers get. (Dark0ne, here) and Do not tell people their thread is in the wrong place, too pointless, spam, they need to use the search function, etc. We have a report function, so USE IT. (Peregrine, as if it wasn't obvious, same thread) Given that this thread is, for some reason, buried in the Oblivion area, and it does not give a clear and full definition of when using 'Report' is appropriate, could something on this be put in the "Forum Rules and Strikes" area? Abramul
Somewhat different, but still a plausible interpretation of the topic name: Can URL tags be used when reporting posts? It's sometimes useful to include a link for a topic other than the one the reported post is in, for instance if someone posts a duplicate topic, and it looks ugly to include a URL in the middle of a sentence.
