Actually, it's not a problem with the game, it's a problem with the people who SEES the game.

Don't press the community to fix your household problems.

Besides, the first TWO fallout games were in 2d, AND back in those days, people cared even less of swearing and such unless they are overly religious (religion had a bigger hold in the past compared to now), which is why they put in a filter... Because the games were also more accessible to some kids than M rated games sold in stores today.

If you take out all of the naughty words, all of the blood, all of the violence, all of the gore, all of the weapons, all of the ... Wait! there's nothing left but some run down scenery and some tame creatures. :whistling:

Different people and different countries have differing ideas on what makes a game adult. Some countries still seem to think all computer games are made just for children and want to censor anything that they think is somehow harmful. My own point of view is that this game was not made for children - on purpose. And so children (of any age  ) should not be playing it anyway.

Removing whatever it is that you, your parents or your government object to is a noble idea, but a large and difficult undertaking. And what you end up with will not be the same game. However, if this is what you want, I wish you luck in your endeavor.

Just remember that whatever patch you come up with should not change the actual game files in any way if you want to post it here on The Nexus. However, a new set of bsa and other files that load after the vanilla files and overwrite the original files will work. (If you are not going to distribute it, you can change anything you want)

My parents used to think computer games were for 10 year olds, and thinks that M rated games are evil and that games shouldn't be played because it turns your brain to mush.

Now my parents starts to use the computer and internet more.

Who's WRONG NOW?!

I found the swearing added to the Authenticity of the story and drew you in more, Boone talking about how he cant "Fudging" believe that "witch" sold his wife would be funny, but not necessarily what is needed to draw players in.

C'mon, the guy has a point. Not everyone likes to hear constant swearing or getting soaked in gore. Not every woman likes giving heaad, but you guys seem to be agreeing (if you allow me tangent) "Get with the times woman, I like getting head so give it ot me!" Not every women likes getting butt fu... well, you get the idea. The point is, don't knock the person for their personal morals - disagree politely, but s***, don't mock them.

I on the otherhand find all of the FO fanchise most excellent and enjoyable and don't believe enough sex nudity was ever included in the original game. Thank you to the marvelous modders in the FO universe that correct that for me. No that is my point of view, you don't have to agree.

Its very simple, you don't like gore, violence, drugs and sexual themes, go play Hellokittyisland which is that way ------>

Honestly.....its common sense, if parents do not want their kids to be exposed to that sort of video game content, it is the Parents responsibility to see to it that their kids do not play such game, buy such game, possess such game and indulge themselves in such game, the end.

I am from Germany and I say my country is nuts with all the anti-violence efforts as far as games go.

This is America, home of the free, last time I checked, not home of the censored and sheltered.

No kids should be playing the game and if they are, shame on their parents.

Mature video games for young adults and grown-ups and hellokittyisland for kids and those too sensitive to violence.
