wolron
I found Nammu (spelling?). I went in and killed off everyone but the prisoner. I gave him a scroll to escape with. I searched the body of the dark elf wizard. No ring! Isn't that wizard supposed to have the ring? I have also searched the place really well with no results. What am I missing. Marxist ßastard
The ring should be on Dren, who, IIRC, is on the top of the rock spire in the underground lake. If you can't find it on his body... Player->AddItem Ring_Wind_Unique
wolron
I went back and checked. The dead wizard is indeed Dren. He has no ring when I click on him to loot his belongings. I guess I will try to use the utility to get a ring, but I know that I am going to feel very guilty doing this. Somehow though, I will get by and be comforted by the just reward. Marxist ßastard
Hmm... You're a purist... You're a masochist... You're a puromasochist!
thanateros
I dunno, that ring is pretty wicked as far as what effect it has. Interesting that he didn't have it on him though, because I just finished the quest and got it off him no problem. Have you checked in the chests and crates around him? Maybe for some odd reason it is in one of those.
wolron
No, I am worse than a purist, worse than a masochist! I went back and used the utility to generate a ring of the winds. I looked in my inventory and it was not there. But of course it had to be there! So I looked again. No ring, but there was this funny shaped thing that looked like a sideways "T". Alas, I now had two rings of the wind. A purist and masochist maybe, but definitely an idiot. :D
Hizentaru
So what exactly does this Ring of Winds do?
Malchik
Go and get it and find out. If you know everything that is going to happen to you it takes out half the enjoyment. Anyhow, that's my opinion.
wolron
It is not a big deal, but it does up your agility 30 points.
