UnknownZombie
I'm having problems getting a locked door that requires a key to behave how I want. The problem is that I need an NPC to be able to access this room, but not the player unless the NPC gives the player the key (no stealing, no killing for it). It seems that you can't make keys "unplayable" so I can't figure out a way to let this NPC access the room without putting a key in their inventory. But once that's done the player could pickpocket or kill this npc for the key. Is what I'm trying to do impossible?
WastelandAssassin
i think that you can attach a script to the door, that if that NPC will try to open it, it will open and then lock itself shortly after that is the only way i know of, to make it workit's not an easy way, but i think it is possible
UnknownZombie
Thanks for the suggestion. I just stumbled across an easier way to do it, though. If you give the NPC ownership of the door, they will have access to it regardless if they have an actual key in their inventory.
