Holdout Weapons

So, dabbling, I found this;

 

NVImprovedHoldoutWeapons

 

Assume it's the list which dictates which weapons are classed as Holdout weapons, i.e. the weapons you can carry into a casino.

 

But, how exactly do I put my own weapon into this list? Or indeed, how do I make it so that my weapon can be carried into a casino?

AddFormToFormList is compatible way of modifying formlists (IIRC it does not stores into savegame, so You have to do that in script after game restart (or loaded) and check with IsInList before)

or

just drag Your weapon base class from object explorer into that list, but that will make You incompatible with someone else doing modifying same formlist.

You just:

1. open list NVImprovedHoldoutWeapons

2. drag Your Weapon On it

3. Press OK

4......

5.Profit

 

Just To Note

 

List NVImprovedHoldoutWeapons Is Used For Players With Sneak >= 50

 

For players With Sneak < 50 Game Uses NVHoldoutWeapons List

 

Edit: thc1234 Is right my way Is Incompatible With Other Mods Modifying that list. Advanced User Should Use AddFormToFormList in Script To Ensure Compatibility
