danceonair
So I'm not the best at modding. I manage to get them working, but honestly, I don't quite understand what I'm doing in the slightest. With the new update, my mods ceased to work and after a day or so, I began to copy methods other gamers were using to get around the issue. I renamed my "Merged" file to "PatchVanilla" and the "Patch" file to "Merged". Somehow, this got my mods working again with the new patch. However, I am no longer able to add new mods to my game. The Mod Manager is now having an error message saying "You *MUST* have at least one version of the Official Patch to be able to use mods." I'm not sure if this is due to the game update or if it's from me switching the names of my files around. In order to fix this, do I just need to change the names of the files again back to their old ones or is this message due to the game update? The help is greatly appreciated! For the record, this message never occurred before. When the update happened, I could still see my mods on the right half of the application, but was just unable to merge them together. I'm just unsure what I did to screw everything up...
GrimmPrince
Just change the original patch folder back to "patch" and delete the other one then merge your mods. The mod manager needs a patch folder to merge with your mods.
