Do i need to download a file manager or somethin like that? I am a complete novice at this, And i want to get some mods for New Vegas, Is it as simple as downloading them? or will i have to move the file around yadda yadda yadda....?

I don't want to end up destroying my computer or something...Could someone detail how to install mods and whatnot?

Lol, It's pretty easy but yeah, I guess sure.

 

1. Download File.

2. Drag and drop all files into your Fallout NV\Data directory.

3. Download Fallout Mod Manager

4. Tick the mod you want to use in the list of 'em.

5. Start Game

6. ???

7. Profit!

Heheh, I saw that southpark episode.. But anyway, What file manager? is there a specific one or Just One option?

If theres more than one, could you recomend one?

There's only one. Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM), one sec here's link.

FOMM is great to use, but if you wanna skip a step, you can just tick off the mods you wanna use in the "Data Files" option in the official launcher.

I am running about 10 or so mods, and it hasn't caused any problems. Still FOMM is better in the long run...
