Thank you for clearing up the past 4 hours of my life but alas the fruits were for naught. If any other solutions come to mind, I would love to hear them but please don't stress any more than either of you have to. I will try with a new game, since Oblivion is notorious for loading data from the savegame instead of the active mods, especially with animations and quest data. Cheers!
