WastelandAssassin
is this happening with all the weapons you have changed their models??because that might mean that you exported it wrong using NifSkope or something......i don't know if this could cause a problem like that, but it's worth checking i think
Draco856
I didn't create the models, and the gun in the image isn't even a custom model, it's the 12.7mm Sub-Machine Gun, and unless Beth did something wrong, it must be something else. The models came from other mods, 2 from Calibr, and 1 from the Gauss Sniper. And I don't see anyone else having problems with those.
WastelandAssassin
ok, so you didn't touch the models at all and are you sure you made everything as it should be?? if i may suggest something, could you try to create these items again, on a new plugin, but just the weapons??this way, we can see if the weapons are the problems or not but don't load your mod in the GECK to use as a base, just make it all from scratch
Draco856
I wasn't planning on using the GECK to re-make them, I used FNV Edit to copy the items and they worked like they should, a little wobbly, but that I believe is the normal wobble, not the extreme I have with the others. All I changed on them was the Enchantment, Ammo, Repair List, and Sounds.
Draco856
I'm thinking it's the ammo that's causing this to happen, I made new ammo effects because the ones that are there weren't powerful enough for me. I added all the ammo effects from the special ammo, which are: DT ReductionDamage BonusSpread ReductionWeapon Condition Mod ---- I probably screwed up when I made them since they aren't very clear on what they really do, should I add, subtract, or multiply the value
WastelandAssassin
well, i'm really lost here.....i don't have any real idea on what could be causing your problem well, if you could use the FNVEdit, maybe you can use it to spot the problems, if there are any written in the report
Draco856
Thats the thing, there aren't any errors in the mod itself, it should work flawlessly (knock on wood), but these guns don't want to cooperate. We've narrowed it down to only a few things that could cause this, and I'm fairly sure it's the ammo effects that are doing it since I only added those in recently. Maybe my Spread Reduction is actually increasing, and causing this... Edit: Fixed it, it was the ammo and the spread that was doing this. Thanks for the help Assassin, gave you a kudos. WastelandAssassin
no problem, though i have to say i did very little to help (at least so it seems) and i am very glad you were able to fix the problem enjoy the game :) and if i may recommend one thing, it is better to make several small plugins for mods, than one big plugin that has the entire modthat way, you can prevent problems, and it is easier to solve the ones you will have
throttlekitty
Certainly an animation problem. Does the problem happen with all guns, or just certain types of guns (1 handed pistol, for example)? And are vanilla guns now affected when your mod is active? My stab at a guess would be that you've set the animation class wrong for the weapon. ie, using a service rifle but using 1 hand pistol animation set. Never played around in this area much, so it's a guess :) Edit: Reading skills ftw, didn't see the 'fixed' part. Ammo, huh? neat!
Draco856
Yeah, apparently, Spread Reduction is a multiply value, not a subtract value which is what I had it as. At least it gave me some laughs looking at my character moving without a spine...
