CiberX15
I need a little help here. I am attempting to creat my first custom weapon for Fallout 3. I created a new barrel of the .32 revolver to make it look more like a python. All of the tutorials say to then take it and paste it into an existing nif file, in my case the .32 revolver. Whenever I try to past it however it only pastes a yellow sphere. What am I doing wrong! In the video tutorials they just click >block>copy then go to the part they wish to replace and click >block>paste over and it works heres the tutorial I am trying to follow if it will help,

CiberX15
Solved my own problem, I was clicking on the object in the 3DVeiw and then copying it and than pasting over the like part in the 3Dveiw in the second nifskope, however the tristrips thing dosent hold the actual mesh data so what i had to do was find the tristrips i wanted, then scroll down in the details menue and find tristips data, then right click on it and select find this value or sommthing like that (dont have it in front of me) and then copy that. then i did the same on the object i wanted to replace, i found its tristrips data then right clicked foud its value and replaced that entry with the one i copyed over. In addition when I export from blender the object is placed at the 0.0,0.0,0.0 so rather than messing around trying to find out where to locate it after loading it, i was able to zero out the translation and it fell right into place.
