Problem with a hairstyle

Hi, I have a little problem with Leliana hair and can't figure out what can I do to solve it. I put HF_HAR_RENS17_0 (from Beautiful People Hair REN) on Leliana from Dragon Age Redesigned Version 7.3a, the Sacred Ashes version. Everything goes well when I start (when I start the game and continue my adventure), however when I have to reload a game (press F9 for example or load a game) the tail of the hair of Liliana becomes white and stay like that. If I close the game, reopen it and continue is all ok, when reload here the white tail again. I really can't find the problem. So I wonder if have heard before something like this and can help me fix it. Thanks in advance List of my mod (I had other mods but I removed all mods and reinstalled only these ones to see if they were the problem): Beautiful People Hair REN Dragon Age Redesigned Version 7.3a cgi Leliana (required for Sacred Ashes version of Leliana) LOTC s Character Creator Eyelashes (required for Sacred Ashes version of Leliana) To change the hair I used DAO tools 1.01, open in override/leliana-cg/hf_genfl_leliana.mor and in morphs_parts 2 string I put there HF_HAR_RENS17 to change the hair style. Hope someone can help me

You might try opening your save and navigating to Leliana's section and directing it to use your modified mor file. I would give you better directions if I were at home but unfortunately I am at work, killing time on my laptop. If you can't figure it out by the time I get home I will give you the proper directions.

That has always been a problem with the Ren's hair. One thing you can do is change her armor...just the chest portion....then change it back. That uses to work on mine. I downloaded another hair mod that included a version of the Ren's 17 and that works for me...I will be darned if I can remember which one it was. I use like 4 different hair mods.

Thanks for the tips! However for "navigating to Leliana's section and directing it to use your modified mor file" I can't really find the way to do it. I just started to use the toolset yesterday and beside all my searches I don't have a clue how to make it.

Same problem to "change her armor...just the chest portion". Now I go to bed and tomorrow I'll try to figure it out how to do these things. If you have some more info you're welcome!

Same problem to "change her armor...just the chest portion".

The tip here was to change the armour she is wearing in-game, but only the main "chest" piece, (not the boots, gloves, helm) then change it back to the original one. Sometimes with these kinds of appearance problems, just forcing the game to re-draw the model fixes the issue.

lol, change in-game :wallbash:. Stupid me, I was so sure that's a problem to resolve with the toolset that I didn't think about it . Well it worked fine but I have to do it every time I reload, still it's really great! Now I'll need to find out how to "navigating to Leliana's section and directing it to use your modified mor file" to try it. Thank you all for your support!

After other searches I finally found the best solution (thanks to isarei!).

In "Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override\meshs" simply delete the lod23 folder. That works fine for me.

Remember that there are 3 lod23 folder:

1 in "meshs" folder

1 in "meshs\dwarves" folder

1 in "meshs\elves" folder

So I think that if you use an hairstyle of "Beautiful People Hair REN" on a dwarf or a elf you need to delete the right folder. Or just delete all 3 lod23 folders to solve the problem.

However like Marlboro Man said "the downside is that at a distance the hair becomes distorted, so there's a trade off".

That's the best solution that I've found right now, I hope it can help.

Thanks again you guys for your support, I really appreciate it
