Deployable Turrets

Ever since I got the game, I have been wanting the ability to place turrets on the ceiling, floor, wall, etc. and letting it attack my enemies for me, while I cower behind a doorway. Of course, this would make the game impractical, by people just simply placing a turret to fight for them instantly, so why not add a timer, sort of like a delay before it is spawned, or make something like the cooldown/timer sort of like the defusing bombs system that they have in Modern Warfare or Black Ops. With this cool down it would make placing them in combat impractical, unless you were under cover, so players would have to strategize on the turrets locations, then run into an ambush or combat and draw enemies into the turrets range or line of fire. If anyone could make this that would be awesome!!

There was a mod for FO3 that allowed you to place a number of things, turrets included, called Placeable Equipment. Maybe you could ask the creator to port it to New Vegas?
