njits
Haven't posted here in quite some time but I had a really cool mod idea. We have mods like Pumping Iron and Wet and Cold which actively change your characters appearance under the right circumstances. What if there was something like this with the dirt textures for faces? For instance, if you spend more than 5 hours in exteriors not including towns a random dirt texture will be applied on your characters face. Over time the dirt texture will intensify until its maxed. If you go back in doors the dirt texture will go away after 1 in-game hour. I sometimes apply the dirt texture to my characters face once he's been out in the wild for a bit through "showracemenu." With this though the game does that for me, it would be logical to get a bit dirty out in the wild right? And cleaning yourself up once indoors at an inn or at a town makes sense to. I think this idea has potential, if there are any modders out there that might wanna give this a shot, that would be great! Cheers.
reyzark
should have some washing basin or bath system to clean it up, the mechanics alredy exist on other mods out there. Edited March 12, 2015 by reyzark
njits
Yeah the face wash basins are already in the game, they just don't do anything. This mod could add an actual use to them by washing your face, thus removing the dirt texture. Immersive College of Winterhold has them but they just add a buff I believe. http://i.imgur.com/sUy4HJJ.jpg
BlackRoseOfThorns
There is a mod adding dirt overlay overtime: Bathing in Skyrim by mzin.
njits
Oh hey that seems to fit the bill quite nicely although it seems like the mod is no longer being actively updated.
