nexus5934
Ive played over 800 hours of this game and been through the exalted plains a number of times, getting the venatori tomes a number of times as well. this time theres a problem, no venatori in the exhalted plains ive cleared all the dead pits and so on what could have gone wrong
theskymoves
I had the exact same experience... piles upon piles of useless Venatori Tomes for my rogue archer, but when I intended to opt for Rift Mage as my specialisation on a second playthough, there were almost no Venatori to be found, and those I did encounter did not drop the tomes. I finally gave up and went Knight-Enchanter. :-/ The tomes (and other specialisation items) can be purchased by meeting specific conditions and if the RNG gods smile, but I wasn't willing to wait that long to acquire a specialisation. RelicDuDe
thanks io got 1 in hissing wastesthen the game started telling me to return to the traineri ignored it later got a 2ndgames still saying return to trainerso i didand the trainer game gave me rift mage upgrade buti never crafted Tome of Riftsi had however already crafted the recipe for the other 2 specialisations Yeh.. i know.... i usually don't have problems, but sometimes DAI can be weird.. very weird.. for no apparent reason Like the bard in Skyhold is singing, but doesn't have an instrument all game. Or i go for that demon in empress du whatever, and the giant along the way just runs away when he sees me, jumps a rather high wall.. and disappears.... probably scared to hell for my cute little elf girl....;) Yesterday i was chasing that golden halla for the Dalish.. has never been a problem.... but this time the fooking animal didnt want to go where i wanted... and turned hostile, so my companions almost killed her. i could just i time prevent that by disengaging.. the Halla stayed hostile however.... so i said... fook it.. and left.. i hadn't crossed the river at the Dalish camp yet, when the journal tells me to go see the halla keeper.. i go do that.. The golden halla is in the camp and no longer hostile..and i get full Dalish favor, an agent, and the quest closes... finished... ???... Oh well... It seems there are random bugs in DAI.. that change with the play-trough... i have never seen anything like this before.. in any game i have played.. and i played a hella lot of games... I was gaming like back in 1981 already on my Commodore C64... I don't count pong or the Dos3-basic snake... as a game... So Bioware.. get off yer ass and fix your game.. you must have at least one talented coder left... This is not how we are used to be getting a game from you... DA2 sucked.. could play it sole nightmare.. but it never crashed.. or had these weird ghost bugs.... as i have come to call them.
nexus5934
using chain lightning on some wolves i inadvertently hit the druffalo from the quest where you return it to redcliffe farm - but did so before i had the quest, the thing goes down to 1 health then no more, spent about 5 minutes with all 4 characters letting rip with eerything, and this druffalo chasing us on 1 health, then i figured it out, bioware could have made that druffalo non attackable they havent even bothered fixing the mosaics in Hinterlands

Mistake, Bioware ?.... or a sick joke....
