lyth
Having spent some time throwing together an interior area, I threw it into my game and ran it to check for issues. Noticed some of the usual problems and then looked up at the ceiling to see, lo and behold, the tiles didn't line up! Not that I hadn't placed them correctly, no, the actual ceiling tiles only aligned on two corners. I looked through the meshes unpacked from the BSA and haven't found the missing piece. The problem is thus. I'm using the fort ruins tileset to create an interior area. (Not really a ruin, but as I'm no graphic artist, it's the best available.) I have a rather large square room and am using the (static/dungeons/fortruins/dungoen/pitset/)RFPitTOPRoof* tiles for the ceiling. The RFPitTOPRoofArched tile is symmetrical, but the RFPitTOPLArched and RFPitTOPRArched (corner) tiles only align to it at one edge. The other edge is, sadly, orphaned. I was wondering if anyone knows whether a custom tile has been produced to fill this gap or if anyone would be willing to create this tile and place it on TESSource for the entire community. (To be introduced as an RFPitTOPRoofArched02 tile in the Construction Set) While Bethesda is quite happy to half-ass everything, particularly those elements that are least noticable, I'd prefer the tiles in my dungeons to at least look like they line up correctly, and from the quality of many other modders work, that desire is nothing unusual. If not, perhaps someone knows of a symmetrical corner tile that aligns to RFPitTOPRoofArched on both edges? As this is not the only tile issue I've come across, I'd also appreciate posts containing links to other tileset completions and custom tilesets for Oblivion that are available on TESSource or other sites without requiring explicit permission from the artist to use. (I.E. Tiles any modder can reuse giving credit, but not having to email the artist and request permission explicitly.) Much thanks ahead of time from myself and anyone else who uses these.
