Quest issue

Ok, I am vilified by the Legion, But usually ewven if you are vilified, when you come out of the Tops Casino, Caesar's emissary is there to give you Caesar's message. No such luck this time. I am not wearing faction armors of any type. I do have Boone with me, but I have done it before with Boone. Hopefully someone can help me with this.

 

Maybe someone can tell me how to set the stage for it via the console?

have you received the message from the NCR??

 

whatever the case, this page has the information about the quest, though it doesn't have the stage list

but i guess that if you use SetStage (quest ID) 1, it would be ok

also, make sure to add the Mark of Ceaser to your inventory, so that you will be able to go and not be attacked

Actually, I got the NCR message as I came out of the Tops, weird place to receive it. Maybe that's why I didn't get the Legion message?

no, that was how it is supposed to be (at least, i know that i got both at the same time, and it worked just fine)

 

i don't know if what i suggested before would work, but it may be worth a try

SetStage did nothing for me. Didn't add the quest. I did get the Mark of Caesar via console. Oh crap, one thing I didn't mention:

 

I nuked Cottonwood Cove.......

i don't know, but that may be a problem

 

if you want to go to ceaser's camp, you can always find the cell, and use the COC command to get there

and if you speak with Ceaser, than maybe that would start and progress the quest and all

 

but if you go to Cottonwood Cove, you can see if there is a soldier on the raft

or maybe you will be able to use it

when i went there, i killed that guard, and went to the camp with Boone, to kill them all

maybe you will also be able to activate the raft yourself

I looked in the GECK, but I am not finding the cell ID.

well, i looked in the GECK myself, and couldn't find the cells either

which is really really strange

 

maybe if you can get to the character (that Vulpa or whatever he is called) and speak to him, you can start the quest

there are commands for moving NPCs, but it might not be a perfect deal

 

i think that if you can use the MoveTo (i think that is the function) to get him to you, and then use it again when you are in Ceaser's tent, it might just work, but i really have no idea......

Yea, I went to the cove and Cursor Lucullus was there, he's now in an advanced rad suit. But he is hostile. No, Boone wasn't with me, I sent him to the Lucky 38. As for Vulpa Whodananny, I killed him at Nipton. I have killed ever single Legion dude I have come across. Even cleaned them out of the Military base and like I said, I did nuke the Hell out of the cove. So I may just be S.O.L.
