StrawHat69 Posted November 21, 2010 Share Posted November 21, 2010 Which program should i download in order for me to extract w/e files? i know their are a lot like .rar.... and .zip or w/e... is there just 1 program i can download in order to extract all of the files? Downloading one of the mod helpers = auto install all mods i download? or do i have to extract them into their own files then place them into the program? (also a link to a step by step noob guide would be awesome.. thandel helped me acouple of days ago but the guide was not very super duper noob friendly). It gave me a lot of good info =) Im still confused on some aspects tho.. For example the DAupdater auto installs some type of mods like i downloaded the Dog Slot mod and it was an easy click and install... But what about other mods where i cant directly into it into the Updater? (only .dazip?) ------- also im tyring to download More Hair Styles, (link) - http://www.dragonagenexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=392 For some reason its not installing.. im getting the loading icon but nothings happening been about 10min. WastelandAssassin Posted November 22, 2010 Share Posted November 22, 2010 well, i can try to help about the first question, i think i know an answer, but use at your own riski think that if the file is a rar or zip file, then you can just change the extension to dazip, and it should be fine (i know that it works for Fallout 3 and New Vegas, and i think it works for DA, but as i've said, haven't played the game in a long while) and about the second question, try using a different serverit happens sometimetoday i was trying to download a mod, and two servers told me that i couldn't download it, but when i tried the british server, it worked like a charmit is probably due to many people downloading from the servers at the same timeso try a different server, one that has less users, and it should work Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
