yamiraf
It's always bugged me how (a) cooking/food is pretty much completely useless in-game even though there is this whole mechanic around it and (b) how unrealistic it is to go around eating nothing fighting 24/7 and facing no consequences. Some survivability mechanics can be added by Realistic Needs (hunger, sleep deprivation) and Frostfall (temperature), so right now a part of the vision of this proposal can be realized. However, the lack of Perks dedicated to these mechanics feel like it's both a second class construct and a waste of the already present in-game system. This mod idea is centered around introducing new Perks geared towards (1) standard cooking mechanics and (2) general survivability.I'd envision these perks fitting right in into the Wayfarer tree in Skyrim Redone's Perk tree. Main proposal: Introduce Perks related to Cooking.- make effects from food more potent- make certain recipes require certain perks- increase harvesting proficiency- etc Should a hunger system be included: Introduce Perks related to Hunger.- decrease debuffs caused by hunger.- increase buffs caused by fully satiated.- etc Further implementing survivability: Introduce Perks related to sleep deprivation, camping, etc. Edited March 14, 2015 by yamiraf
