Remnant Vault Question

During my last play through and the current one; I've discovered the Remnant Vault. Once I'm inside there's a comp console and door; despite extensive creeping and crawling all over the game world, I have yet to discover or be given the password or key for the console or door. Where can I get these bad boys? TY!

Its a quest, "For Auld Lang Syne".

First, you would need to be pretty deep into the Main Quest. Then travel to the Old Mormon Fort, talk to Arcade Gannon and make him follow you, then take him to the Crashed Vertibird (South End, Middle) and he will initiate the quest, you will gain access during the quest.

Been to both the Mormon fort and vertibird sites so I'm good to go for that quest. Thanks, much appreciated!

So after we get the old gang back togather, Arcade decides to go back to the Old Mormon Fort [apparently the old "I'm a lover not a fighter" issue :laugh: ] instead of Legion banging with the rest of us. When he splits, I get all these on screen advisories telling me everything he'd been carrying in his inventory for me was added back into mine. Then the Old Gal gives me her power armor (because I"m not over burdened enough yet) , and I leave the Bunker (very slowly) only to be shocked by Arcade saving me from the attack of a giant ************* wasp (not sure where he was keeping his melee weapon-----it's not like he had any pockets [Arcade, not the wasp]), and he gives me his family power armor (Dude! I'm already carrying 5000 lbs of **** from all the stuff I got back from you and the old broad's power armor !!!)

So after ditching all the old fish heads, cooked cauliflowers, and the croquet set from my overloaded inventory, I'm on my merry way to the Dam to finish the game (I hope)! :laugh:

 

Oh yea..................I had to save Arcade from the Giant Mantis about to attack; as you can see from the enemy band in my HUD compass/FOF display. Cripes!

There are several locations you can take him to: the REPCONN HQ, Silver Rush, go to McCarran and ask the scientist about OSI, etc... It's all in the Fallout Wiki.

 

Also it really helps to be hostile with the Legion, then it only takes one or two visits to get Arcade to give the quest.
