I'm not dure if it was just an idea or a mod in the works but someone suggested something similar to the system in Red Dead Redemption (With the breaking game since thats WAY too much work)

The idea/mod proposed

A survival based taming system (Since it's the replacement of the outdoorsman skill)

A scripted saddle weapon or item that can be used to select creatures (I thought maybe using the grab key for this idea)

My Ideas:

Adding mountable creatures from Fo3 (Yai Gaui "Bear" etc.)

Aquiring permission for well made quadriped creatures from modders

Unique creatures specifically made to ride only.

Unique Mountables (Similar to the legendaries from Red Dead Redemptiob)

Not too interested in mountables myself but I have given it some thought as to how to make it were it doesn't break immersion. (Which is all too important to me, unless its something fun and silly)

I like the above idea of unque caravans, maybe an animation of two bighorners pulling it around or bound deathclaws with muzzles or enclave brain controls on, anyways To the post before that, one of the first mods I downloaded for NV was called hoverboard and Idk if its still up or even if it works (I add mods and try to find them by accident, I find its more fun than just getting them immediatly) oh and I hope to stimulate this thread since i've linked it to at least 5 or 6 other threads.

I tried the hoverboard. It was fairly s***.

The problem most vehicle mods have is that vehicles end up like the motorcycle mod. They just look s*** when they move along the ground. This is why the hoverchair worked so well. It floated above the ground avoiding the clipping issues and general odd feeling you got while riding the motor cycle.

Thats why I want to see a hovercar or hovertruck/caravan.

You could avoid the worst parts of vehicle mods.

Rideable critter mods tend to work alrightish aside from glitchy as f*** animations in most of them. A good one would be epic though. They've got the advantage of relying on the creatures existing animations.
