RustyBlade
If you go into your My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\ folder and there is no override folder, right click in the core folder, select new, select folder and name it override. Wow thats quick and easy haha did that... now is there anything i need to do specifically? some mods just say put the extracted file in the override folder (like the Sacred Ashes CG Faces) and bam done.... Also another question, should i install DAmodder or DA-modmanager? are the certain mods that only work with 1 (for example it says use DAmodder) or are they both basically the same thing so it works with any? And thank you for ur responses!
RustyBlade
If the mod's creator says to put it in the override folder all you need to do is extract it there. DA ModManager has a special file type that it uses. Those files end with ",override" There are several mods that use that method of installation and DAMM is the only way to install them. It can also be used to install and detect dazip files but for those all you really need is the daupdater.exe that came with the game.

So for More Hair Styles when it says Drag the extracted file into the DAModder i need to use DAModder or can it be done with DAModManager? sorry still confused between the 2... if both r necessary thats fine but i dont want to have if i dont need to. RustyBlade
It also saysOR 1. Extract the archive in your "My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override" directory

Extract the archive in your "My Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\Packages\Core\Override" directory Ya i saw that, so basically the Mod Management (both of them) are just tools to help u, if i wanted i could just copy and paste the extracted files into the override folder.. It really helps, i found acouple of youtube videos that go step by step... should add the links to the site or something, its difficult to read but simple when watching and following step by step Link i found was this dude uses the More Hair Style mod from this site and goes step by step on how to do it manually (copy and paste into override) and using DAmodder
