Quilldragon
Good afternoon everyone. I'll start this off stating that i have zero mod talent and/or knowledge. I'm just really hoping that someone who does may pick up this idea and run with it. Just imagine, you're trudging through the Mojave following the goals and events of the mortal coil. When suddenly the oddest sound to grace the wastes since the acoustics of atomic warfare ripped through the air, begins howling, screeching, and grinding. Quiet at first but increasing in volume with proximity. Further investigation leads the courier to find a strange, upright blue box. Now, i would love to just live in the TARDIS, but I do have an idea or two of how to tie it in. possible activation quest:Upon finding the strange blue monolith, the courier approaches to inspect, but the strange object appears to disappear momentarily each time it is approached. A high science skill reveals the knowledge that the object does not seem to be anchored in our reality. A high repair skill along with at least a moderately high survival skill(and maybe a note or message left by person(s) unknown), will reveal to the courier the mechanical and biological components required to construct a device to tether the mysterious box with our reality. side notes and ideas: when first finding it, geckos surrounding it hitting it with bones, would be funny. perhaps a companion inside modeled after one of the various Dr.'s companions. should probably be a mid to late game home, with lots of interior space (lots and lots), and well supplied. (with barebones option available) The random room. in true spirit of the tardis, a room that changes every time you enter it. probably don't wanna keep anything in it. Once again, I don't even know if all or any of these things are even possible. They are just ideas that I am hoping someone will pick up. Thank you all again for taking the time to read my thoughts and musings. And thank you in advance if you decide this is something you can do. Have an excellent day, -Q
simplywayne90
Try looking into the last child of galerfray mod in Fo3 nexus and see if thats a good start, and the doctors screwdriver is already a mod for new vegas, but yeah Fallout seems like somewhere the Doctor would end up anyways, so he wouldn't break immersion really (not as bad as a modern gun in a game set in a retro-society c'mon folks!) sorry personal rant there. Quilldragon
additional idea, the player could receive the corresponding skill checks and information from a abandoned tablet of psychic paper.

r4y30n
I remember the tardis that was made for Oblivion. It was pretty cool in theory but the medievel components made it a little silly and it always seemed incomplete to me. Anyhow, there is plenty of high-tech junk in the wasteland that could be used to put a tardis interior together but I imagine there will be a lot of argument about just how it should look and be laid out. Personally, I want to see the pool, styled kinda like the one in the Ultra Luxe, a library and the wardrobe, preferably a ridiculous multi-level affair as seen when David Tenant took over as Doctor. Not sure how to make it look like there are clothes on hangers, though, seeing as all clothes in the game are folded... Anyhow, throughout all of the series it's slowly been let on that the inside is a whole lot bigger than the couple rooms they frequently show and it would be nice if a Fallout version reflected that.
