MrLamar
Hey all! I've been experimenting with landscape editing, but i've run into a problem. In GECK, the Landscape I've edited looks fine (I'm making a canyon that goes from goodsprings to the land outside of the boundaries), but in-game, there is some "fake" land that seems to have been the basic shape of of the original landscape was. I'm able to run, and even shoot, through it. The fake land is very undetailed and can be easily distinguished from the "real" terrain. How can i get rid of this? Thanks! Interfer0
The "fake" land is the LOD (level of detail) mesh or texture I think. You have to regenerate the world LOD to make it show up correctly. According to This page it will take 2-3 weeks to run the entire wasteland. Its best to use a new worldspace where instead of running 1360 chunks of terrain it generates under 100.
