Combat Ranger Leg switch

I would like to see a mod that puts the legs from Rauls Vaquero mesh (minus the stupid unsheathed knife) onto the Ranger Combat mesh.

I really dig the look of the combat ranger with the coat and the breastplate, just the legs seem a bit unprotected. I replaced the Mesh that the actual rangers use with mashup of Jaysus' coat mod and the Tumbajamba new ranger armors by using GECK, nulling out textures and using addons. I am using the coat with a custom mesh by TVs_frank that I tweaked a little.

 

I don't know how to use 3D modelers and I really don't want to. I spend too much time in GECK as it is, if I could make my own meshes then I would never play the game lol.

Ok so I attempted to use Nifskope and its one big piece so I'm not even sure if this is possible.

I would think it is because I have seen the coat used as a separate item on a mesh.

I'm sure my bashing of the terminology doesnt help.

I can't even find a tutorial on this. I know its do-able I just need a shove in the right direction.
