FlankerDFR
Well...............I've met Beny at the Tops; talked him into meeting me upstairs without his bodyguards. Talked with him up in the room, didn't like the results so Veronica and I beat him to death [she IS my kinda bar fighter; while the most imaginative thing I could come up with was to pummel him with my fists {my hold out was 6 frag nades--not real good for in the room fighting}; Veronica was smart enough to snatch up a pool cue and lay into Benny with that! ]. So I've left the Tops, got all my stuff back and been met by Vulpes Inculta in front of the Tops and given the pass to meet Caesar (not sure how that'd work cause I already snuffed all the Romans at Cabot Cove while I was freeing the Weatherby family from enslavement at night). I've also talked to the NCR Ambassador and been given the talk to the Boomers mission, and Veronica has asked to return to the BoS at Hidden Valley and I've agreed. So..................what do you NV gurus advise? I'm planning on backing the NCR, so I'm thinking go back to the Lucky 38, throw on some Stealth Boy and kill Mr. House; then play the BoS & Boomer missions (Caesar can go take a leap), and take it from there. I've thought about going to Caesar just to see if Veronica and I can get away with jumping him and killing off the whole encampment, but I'm not sure I want to mess with that or not. I've also thought about playing through the Wild Card: Side Bets mission tree (not sure about that either). Any advice on play through options based on your expeiences will be appreciated! TY! secksegai
I prefer taking Boone to Cottonwood Cove, but I don't bring him along the first time so I can have a chat Ceasar first. Since its your first time making the visit, best to save before visiting the Cove then make your trip to the Fort to see what its like and whether or not you can handle it. It can easily be solo'd with the right equipment, but rp wise its more fun to have a companion join in. You really don't need to waste a Stealthboy to get to Mr House if you move swiftly enough. Strongly recommend to keep a few saves handy before you decide a side to save you time between playthroughs unless you want to make some drastic changes.
