paokig4 Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 my problem is simple... i just can't attack with bows!...all the other animations work fine(block attack, block idle, idle etc.) but the attack animation wont work. Neither 1st or 3rd persion view...Though all the other NPC's can attack...i've installed the silver ranger mod But its installed 1 month now, thoigh the problem the last days.the bowattack animation file exists in both meshes/characters/_1stperson and meshes/characters/_male so what is going on?? am i missing something?please help.in any case is there somewhere i can find the original bow animations? just in case Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Megatarius Posted November 23, 2010 Share Posted November 23, 2010 What do you mean you "can't attack"? What happens when you try? Try going into the Data/Meshes/Characters/Male and seeing if there is a bow attack .kf file in there. If so, it's from a dirty mod and overwriting the real one, and possibly broken. paokig4 Posted November 23, 2010 Author Share Posted November 23, 2010 when i left click(attack) there's nothing going onas i explained the bowattack.kf existsthe only prob is that i accidentaly i overwrote the original bow attack. i still wonder why i didnt back it up... if anyone knows how can i get the original 3rd and 1st person bow attack kf i'be happy... i dont want to reinstall oblivion just for this Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The original animation, and all other vanilla files, are stored in BSAs. When you delete files in the loose folders Oblivion will automatically revert to the vanilla files stored in the Oblivion - Meshes.bsa Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The original animation, and all other vanilla files, are stored in BSAs. When you delete files in the loose folders Oblivion will automatically revert to the vanilla files stored in the Oblivion - Meshes.bsa After you get rid of the .kf file make sure to do Archive Invalidation again.
