Deathwithin
I'm new to the modded side of DAO, and i'm looking for more hair styles for HF, since the ones i have are pretty boring.I'm pretty sure there are some out on the forum, but i have been through over a hundred pages with no luck.So i hope someone can help me out. Thanks. ------------------------Found the More_Hairstyles mod, it says i can change the hair of my current character using a "Toolset" pardon me, but i have no idea how or what that is.. can anyone help? RustyBlade
Go here: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/index.php in the search box to the left, type hair and click on go. Two pages of results, most are new hairstyles
Thandal
------------------------Found the More_Hairstyles mod, it says i can change the hair of my current character using a "Toolset" pardon me, but i have no idea how or what that is.. can anyone help? The DA Toolset (v1.1 is the current one) is published by BioWare to work "outside the game" to put things in it. It's available on the BioWare Social Network (BSN). Just google "Dragon Age Toolset" and you'll get the link. It isn't the most user-friendly beast. (Downright user-surly, if you ask me.) But you only need the Toolset if you're going to create an entirely new face from scratch, or make edits directly to an EXISTING facemorph. The more common way to do a little "plastic surgery" is to create a new character (using the in-game Character Creator process) with eveything looking exactly as you want, then start a new game and play until you can make your first save, and finally exit and use one of the many utilities that let you swap one PC's face for another. The utility I used before becoming Toolset-savvy is "DA Face Replacer" (DAFR). [Edit: Actually, I still use it for some simple tasks if the .mor is already built!] Edited November 23, 2010 by Thandal
Deathwithin
Thanks for the help. I'm not unfamiliar with mod tools, just not the best at it, and i can be a slow learner. But will get there in time hehe.I have a feeling DAO will be abit more fun now. Thanks again for the help.
