Landmind
New Display Case Stumped. Problems with No Animation. Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I couldn’t find a dedicated page for this type of question.Though technically, I am having a problem with getting my Mod up and running. Anyway. Does anyone know how to effectively make a new display case with animation. (The table like ones with the moving glass doors). All I really want is the normal Red Long Display Case; only slightly shorter in length.(Its just a little too big to fit into the wall alcoves in Battlehorn Castles main hall). While originally I though I could just get away with Shrinking it with the Scale function, in TES4CS, I noticed that it only does that with the mesh, not the Collision. Consequently having noticed a bug where moving things in other things has sometimes caused the area to shift rather then the object, I wanted to be very sure that would not happen. Which meant, somehow reducing the Collision model as well.I was able to alter the model with Blender. (Beginner). And even got it imported into TES4CS. However, during actual Test Play, while they are there, and selectable, there was no animation; no nothing. :wallbash: I have obviously missed a step. Unfortunately I have no idea what. Its technically listed as a Door in CS so I'm thinking that there must be some Assign Animation or extra scripting, or something like that. But I cant find anything listed for the Default ones already there. :geek: Either that, or I'm exporting it out of Blender all wrong. Any ideas.Perhaps someone out there has already made there own already, and could give pointer? Hope someone can help.
