"Broken headlight"

im having the weirdest problem in my game. ALL characters who use the eye mesh from the imperial folder are affected by the same thing: the left eye is completely normal, while the right eye is glowing. ive removed all glowmaps from my eye texture folder, but no change.

i noticed this after obtaining the etherealeyes-all mod.

its not a game breaker, its just bugging the crap outta me...

The problem is known as "googly eyes" and here is a thread with someone else who had the problem and responses with how to fix it (at the end of the thread).

Thread: I am about to commit suicide of these stupid googly eyes.

well, heres another problem- i cant download wrye bash. ive tried countless times, but every time i try to download the .exe file, i get this message:

(file path) could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder.

Change the folder properties and try again, or try saving in a different location.

its not my trying to place the file, it simply my trying to actually download it.

Are you using Firefox? If so, go to Tools->Options and on the General Tab look for where it says which directory to save fles to - change that directory to someplace other than where it is (and to someplace other than under c:\Program Files). If using Internet Explorer: when it asks, tell it to download the file to some other directory; perhaps under My Documents...

If you are running Windows 7 or Vista, you should also reinstall your Oblivion game in some directory other than c:\Program Files or c:\Program Files (x86). Most people use c:\games\oblivion as an alternate install location. After you move/reinstall Oblivion, then you can install Wrye Bash in the new oblivion directory.

Lastly, you don't really need the Wrye Bash self installer .exe, you need WryePython03a and the WryeBash 287 archive and the Wrye Bash 290 upgrade. Install the WryePython03a first. Then install the Wrye Bash 287 and finally install Wrye Bash 290 upgrade on top of your 287 install.

Then when Firefox asks you where you want to save the file, what directory are you telling it to save the file to?
