VSS Vintorez Sniper Rifle.

 

STATS:

 

DMG: 42

DPS: 42

SPRD: 0.02

CRIT MULTY: x5

CRIT DMG: 42

AMMO: .308 Caliber Round

MAG: 10

WG: 2.5

VALUE: 4800

AP: 35

HP: 180

bulid in silencer

 

MODS:

extended mags +10 rounds per magazine

 

Both Sniper and mod sold by Gun Runners.

Originaly this Sniper rifle uses 9x39 mm, if anyone decide to do this mod original ammo would be nice but i dont know how complicated is to do so i put .308 rounds.

This Sniper rifle was my favourite wepon in STALKER games , and it one of the coolest sniper i ever saw.

I hope my stats are balanced, feel free to suggest and comment.

Maybe slightly less base damage but faster firing speeds?

 

Damage and DPS are the same meaning you fire 1 shot every second?

 

28 DAM

56 DPS

1 Shot per 0.5 seconds

 

This can work too, just speed up the semi-auto functionality...

Damage is kind of lowered because I imagined it to be a rapid stealthy mid-long range sniper rifle.

 

But if your using stealth, you increase the damage by 3 times, which makes the shot a 84 DMG attack. This means using 42 DMG is too high if your going to use stealth, since that makes it a whopping 126 damage!

I dont think that DMG would be too high, becouse we allready have normal Sniper rifle that does 62 DMG with CRIT multy x5, and normal sniper can be modified with silecer + you can use .308 JSP rounds so how powerfull is that.

Currently I have two versions, a 9mm ammo, and a 9mm sub sonic ammo. the regular 9mm version is for those who don't want a new ammo type.

 

Damage is scaled at 30 for the AS Val, and 60 for the VSS. For the reason that the VSS is slower, and the AS Val is faster. Might be changed, but currently I made it this way since the VSS is ment to be a sniper. Besides this, the 9mm Sub Sonic is a 9mm heavy round, meaning it weighs more, and hits harder.

 

AP, HP, and normal rounds created.

Sub sonic rounds are for suppressed weapons so there isn't a ballistic crack. They would actually be less effective not more as they aren't packed with as much powder. They are meant to be quieter then standard munition and to do so they dont achieve as high a velocity as standard or AP munitions.

Yes, but the bullet is heavier also.

Penetration is still weaker then a standard round. Now that I think about it all variations of the 9x39 used for that weapon are subsonic whether AP or Standard. Idk how much realism your going for though so it prolly doesn't matter.

^^ It is true, against a heavily armored opponent most likely in real life you'd fail to penetrate armor. But soft targets take heavy damage.
