StupidityRampant
So I recently decided to mod my Dragon Age Origins to get more out of it after playing it into oblivion, but all of the installation instructions mention .dazip files, which only a few of the mods I chose have. The rest of the mods I downloaded have .erf files. The ones that have the .dazip files are easy to find in the downloaded mod as well, I just open the folder and bam, there is the .dazip file. The .erf file mods I have to go through several folders to even get to the .erf files (Content -> Addins or Packages -> mod name -> core -> data -> associated .erf file) I really want to be able to play this game modded. Any help would be greatly appreciated ~
Thandal
Sounds like things are working as expected since ".dazip" mods contain multiple files that have to be put in the proper locations. These may include ".erf" files, or they may not. But the built-in "DAUpdater" (or any of the DA Mod Managers) know how to handle those. Other mods may also contain ".erf" files, but have different installation instructions. Check the author's Description or Readme. So help us help you. Give us the names (at least) of the specific mods you're talking about. (Links would be even better!) Else there's not much anyone can do.
Gregatron13
I am having the same problem. Most of the mods I download unzip as a bunch of folders, and the only files I can find are ERF files. The main one I'm trying to use is the expanded inventory mod, found at:http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/23 Clearly I am doing something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Gregatron13
Never mind I figured it out. I was unzipping the download and digging through it instead of changing the actual download from .zip to .dazip. I'm a genius lol
